Company Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Android Developer to join our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-quality Android applications that deliver excellent user experiences and meet business objectives. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to create scalable and maintainable solutions using modern Android development practices.

Job Description:

  • Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and the modern Android development stack.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following MVVM and Clean Architecture principles.
  • Support and maintain legacy applications written in Java, ensuring stability while gradually migrating to modern practices where applicable.
  • Integrate applications with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous code quality improvements.
  • Ensure high performance, responsiveness, and reliability of applications across a wide range of devices.
  • Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in Android development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as an Android Developer with a solid portfolio of released apps.
  • Proficient in Kotlin, with the ability to read, maintain, and enhance legacy code written in Java.
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Android Jetpack libraries (e.g., Compose, ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation, Room, WorkManager).
  • Experience building apps using architectural patterns like MVVM and Clean Architecture.
  • Familiarity with modern Android tools such as Android Studio, Gradle, and Firebase.
  • Knowledge of the Google Play Store deployment process and release lifecycle.
