Role location: Hybrid (three days in-office, two days virtual)

ABOUT THE TEAM

Work closely with Customers, Business analysts, Scrum Master, Product Owner, and team members to understand business requirements and drive research analysis, and design, to deliver of quality technical solutions ensuring alignment with business and IT strategies and complying with FIS architectural standards.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Adhere to processes defined in the Project Management Plan
• Understand and clarify the requirements and design
• Creates technical specifications on case-by-case basis
• Prepare unit test plan and data as per the requirements and design
• Perform unit testing and document the results
• Provide test support in relevant stages
• Implement and adhere to secure coding guidelines and Conduct peer review of deliverables
• Escalate risks or issues to Scrum Master, Project Owner, and Development Manager as per project plan
• Coordinate with clients on requirements and information related to commitment work
• Implement permanent fix for defects or changes due to production-related issues.
• Provide weekend validation due to system updates.
• Exhibits effective problem-solving competence for various programming challenges.
• Can think logically and writes/analyzes source code independently.
• Manages Time Effectively.
• Resourceful and proactive in gathering information and sharing ideas

WHAT YOU BRING:

• Must have experience/skills/tools: Experience using Cobol, JCL, DB2 and IMS; 8+ years of experience in mainframe technologies
• Nice to have experience/skills/tools: Exposure to Banking and Financial domain, and Production Support experience
• This role follows a hybrid work arrangement, requiring on-site presence at the Ecoplaza Building, Magallanes, Makati, for two days each week, and the remaining days worked remotely. Please note that this setup is subject to change in response to evolving business requirements. Employees are expected to report to the office as needed to support operational priorities.
• Open to work on a Regular shift and flexible to accommodate late night meetings and overlap with Onshore team.
• College Undergraduates and Non-Bachelor Degree holders with relevant experience are welcome to apply
• Experience on the Tools like INSYNC, XPEDITER, DUMP-M and CONTROL-M.
• Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles - Agile software development.
• Excellent customer service skills that build high levels of customer satisfaction for internal and external customers
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences
