Trimble Autobid Estimator

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Estimator to support our U.S.-based projects from overseas. This position does not involve on-site work or site visits. The successful candidate will focus on preparing accurate and competitive estimates by conducting digital takeoffs, reviewing HVAC specifications, and interpreting construction blueprints. Proficiency in Trimble and Bluebeam software is required, along with a strong background in commercial/industrial mechanical estimating.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review digital project plans, specifications, and bid documents to prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates.
• Perform remote quantity takeoffs using Trimble and Bluebeam software.
• Analyze HVAC drawings and technical specifications to ensure precise estimates.
• Collaborate virtually with U.S.-based project managers, engineers, and estimating teams to clarify scope and align with project requirements.
• Develop cost breakdowns, budgets, and bid proposals for commercial and industrial HVAC projects.
• Maintain communication with vendors and subcontractors to collect and verify pricing data.
• Provide estimating support during the pre-construction and early project phases.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of HVAC estimating experience in commercial/industrial construction.
• Proficient in Trimble Autobid and Bluebeam software for digital estimating and takeoffs.
• Strong ability to read, interpret, and apply HVAC blueprints, specifications, and mechanical drawings.
• Excellent mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a remote environment.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with U.S.-based teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with other construction management and estimating software.
• Experience working across international or remote project teams.
• Knowledge of U.S. building codes and industry standards.
