Job Overview:

The Website Designer will be responsible for continuing, updating, improving, and maintaining our existing company website. This role ensures that the website remains visually appealing, functional, user-friendly, and aligned with the company's branding and business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Update and maintain the current website design, layout, and pages.
  • Create new web pages, banners, graphics, and other visual elements as needed.
  • Ensure the website is mobile-responsive, fast-loading, and optimized for user experience.
  • Perform regular security checks, backups, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Upload new content such as announcements, products, project updates, and company information.
  • Coordinate with management for revisions, corrections, or new site features.
  • Improve SEO (Search Engine Optimization) to increase online visibility.
  • Monitor website performance and provide suggestions for improvement.
  • Ensure consistent branding, style, and messaging across the website.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in website design and website maintenance.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design.
  • Experience using CMS platforms (example: WordPress, Wix, Shopify, or company's current platform).
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or similar.
  • Understanding of SEO principles and website performance optimization.
  • Strong attention to detail and sense of visual aesthetics.
  • Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with teams.

Preferred (Optional):

  • Experience with hosting management and domain settings.
  • Familiarity with basic website security practices.
