Construction Project Manager

About the Role

As a Project Manager, you will supervise and
monitor the on-time completion of renovation and/or construction of Head Office
units and Branches in accordance to the approved design/ lay-out and standards
of the Bank. Also, you will provide assistance to the Building Administration
and Maintenance Department (BAMD) functions in the Visayas and Mindanao areas
whenever necessary.

How you'll contribute

• Monitors and coordinates
  approval of plans from the management and the lessor detailing, editing,
  improving the lay-out and details using Auto Cadd Drawings to be able to
  have an accurate design lay-out prior to construction implementation
• Conducts pre-bidding
  conference and meetings with General Contractors, Suppliers, and other
  trades involved in construction using the Bank's standard procedure and
  injecting latest construction methods to achieve completeness of bids and
  construction documents necessary for the implementation of the project
• Ensures completeness of
  construction by filing/submitting the documents to the right recipient
  securing internal files and submitting files to external parties involved
  in construction to be used for maintenance purposes and annual inspection
  documents for Property Management Department (PMD)
• Monitors/reviews
  preparation of lay-out/drawings/ construction plans from the bank's
  accredited consultants to achieve completeness of details and correctness
  of design lay-out
• Attends to the preliminary
  inspection and all the necessary coordination to ensure completeness prior
  to acceptance of the prospect new branch location
• Reviews the lease
  agreement (construction related concerns) to ensure implementation
• Cross Functions with BAMD
  to cover for related works in the vicinity of the hub where he/she is
  assigned at
• Reviews and evaluates
  construction progress based on the progress accomplishment to be able to
  ensure that payment is aligned with progress of works
• Conducts and monitors
  punchlists and completion of implementation including turn-over of the
  project by actual inspection and quality checking of materials installed
  and workmanship applied by the contractors and suppliers to ensure that
  construction is delivered according to the standard quality set by the
  Bank
• Represents the Bank for
  site turnover to ensure completeness and to note all the deficiency based
  on standard site provisions.
• Prepares close out
  documents and ensures all requirements are submitted by the contractor.
• Other related tasks which
  may be assigned from time to time

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in
  Architecture
• At least 2 to 3 years of
  relevant experience in project management, construction, renovation,
  maintenance, and design
• Knowledgeable with
  quantity surveying and quality assurance
• Able to manage to complete
  a whole construction program
• Must be amenable to go on
  field work (Mainly for VisMin areas and Luzon when necessary) for site
  inspection, project/construction meetings, and reporting as needed
• Must be amenable to work
  onsite in Cebu
