Graphic Designer (Gift & Premium)

We are seeking for a Graphic Designer for the gift and premium industry, who needs a unique blend of artistic talent and commercial awareness, encompassing visual communication, product design, and branding. He/She must be a creative storyteller, exceptionally detail-oriented, and adept at collaborating with various teams to develop products that delight and engage. Key requirements include a strong portfolio of design work, proficiency in industry-standard software, and the ability to translate market trends and client needs into compelling visual and product designs.

Skills:

  • Design Skills: Exceptional visual design skills with a strong foundation in typography, color theory, and layout, with a specific flair for creating designs for physical products and packaging.
  • Audience-Centered Design: A deep understanding of consumer trends and preferences within the gift and premium market, involving market research and interpreting client briefs.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expert knowledge of graphic design software, particularly the Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Experience with product mockups is a plus.
  • Creative Problem-Solving: The ability to develop innovative and commercially viable design solutions for a wide range of gift and premium products.
  • Collaboration: Working effectively with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, and manufacturing, to bring concepts from ideation to production.
  • Communication: Clearly articulating design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and effectively incorporating feedback.
  • Brand Management: Understanding and applying client and in-house brand guidelines consistently across all products and marketing materials to ensure brand integrity.

Experience:

  • Portfolio: A strong and diverse portfolio showcasing a range of previous design work, ideally including projects in product design, packaging, branding, and promotional materials.
  • Industry Experience: Previous experience working as a graphic designer within the gift, premium, or promotional products industry is highly desirable.

  • Attention to Detail: Meticulously ensuring that all design work, from initial concepts to final production files, meets the highest quality standards.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, trend-driven environment.
  • Adaptability: The flexibility to switch between different projects and adapt to evolving client requirements and feedback.
  • Understanding of Marketing Principles: Knowledge of how graphic design supports broader marketing and sales strategies for consumer products.
  • Receptiveness to Feedback: A willingness to receive and implement constructive criticism to improve design outcomes.
