We are hiring for a Business Intelligence Analyst for a client in BGC This is a hybrid role with a salary of up to 145K Min requirement: 3+ years of related business intelligence and reports developmentexperienceIntermediate knowledge of tools and techniques used in testing BI dashboards and reports Other RequirementsDemonstrated proficiency with Excel and ability to develop queries with SQL for data testingBeginner to Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Power BIExperience with any of the BI tools: Tableau, Spotfire, PowerPivot or Microsoft SQL ServerReporting Services (SSRS)Experience in Microsoft SQL Server and Visual StudioCommitment to quality and continuous improvementCreative and critical thinking, having strong attention to detailExperience developing reports, business requirement documentation, process flow diagrams, usecases and testing plansBackground in data analysis, data modelling, and visualizationKnowledge of Microsoft productivity tools such as Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint as well aswillingness to learn Microsoft Power Platform with Power Apps and Power Automate for testing The Role Serve as a champion of quality for the BI teamContribute to testing strategy for the BI product that leads to high quality releasesCreate high quality test cases from the requirements, and quality standards that aid the BIdevelopment team understand the value of the report from the user's perspectiveWorks with the BI team in identifying appropriate tests to execute, that will get the team closer to thegoal of delivering working BI dashboard to productionHelps support and maintain the goal of continuous test execution and review failed testsAdvocates improving quality during all the stages of BI developmentWork directly with stakeholders and business analyst to understand and document requirementsWork closely with the database administrator, BI developer, and stakeholders to ensure timely andaccurate delivery of development workSupport data collection, integration, testing, and troubleshooting of issues uncoveredCreate required project documentation and ensure that it is clear, concise, and accurate
