Data Architect

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Data Architect with strong expertise in Azure Cloud to design and build scalable, secure, and efficient data solutions. You will play a key role in developing and enhancing a global data platform that supports high-volume transactional systems, big data, and complex analytics for the healthcare and benefits domain. Key Responsibilities Lead architecture and design of data solutions using Azure services.Develop and improve data lake architecture (data ingestion, storage, transformation, and consumption).Design scalable data models, schemas, and pipelines tailored to healthcare and benefits data.Implement best practices for data governance and security using tools like Microsoft Purview.Continuously assess and enhance existing data structures for better performance and efficiency.Collaborate with product and business teams to align data architecture with business goals.Contribute to the development of data architecture standards and roadmaps.Guide and mentor team members to build technical expertise.Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and documentation efforts. Qualifications Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.Strong experience in Azure data services:Azure Data FactoryAzure Synapse AnalyticsAzure DatabricksAzure SQL DatabaseAzure Data Lake StorageMicrosoft Purview and related governance toolsExperience in data modeling, data warehousing, data integration, and performance optimization.Knowledge of data security practices including encryption, masking, and Azure Active Directory.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and with globally distributed teams.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills. Preferred Skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric.Familiarity with legal and compliance aspects of data usage.Experience building flexible and high-performance reporting environments.Strong understanding of system thinking and ability to simplify complex technical concepts.Ability to influence stakeholders and present solutions effectively.
