About the Role: 

As a Senior Accountant, you'll be a key member of our production accounting team. Your role will involve delivering accurate, insightful work that truly impacts our clients,  from preparing financial statements to managing complex tax matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing client files for accuracy
  • Preparation of Quarterly Business Activity Statements
  • Prepare complex tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships, trusts, and self-managed superannuation funds
  • Preparation of financial statements in accordance with Australian accounting standards
  • Stay current on Australian tax legislation and accounting standards, and share insights with the team
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance workflow and service delivery

What Were Looking For

  • 4+ years of Australian tax experience in a public practice firm
  • Strong understanding of Australian tax laws and accounting principles
  • Proficiency in Xero
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team
