Job Overview

This position oversees the end-to-end manufacturing process of fine or fashion jewelry. The ideal candidate has experience in jewelry production, vendor coordination, materials sourcing, and production workflow management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily production operations, ensuring quality control and timely order fulfillment.
  • Coordinate with designers, CAD teams, bench jewelers, casters, and stone setters to bring designs to life.
  • SOURCE AND MANAGE RELATIONSHIPS WITH MATERIAL SUPPLIERS AND SUBCONTRACTORS (CASTING, POLISHING, PLATING, ETC).
  • Maintain detailed production documentation including BOMs (Bill of Materials), cost sheets, and timelines.
  • Implement and enforce quality control standards across all stages of production.
  • Forecast inventory needs and ensure all necessary materials (metals, stones, findings) are procured on time.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, minimize delays, and optimize efficiency and cost.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in jewelry production or manufacturing management.
  • Strong knowledge of jewelry materials, processes (casting, stone setting, polishing), and supply chain.
  • Familiar with CAD/CAM and jewelry design software.
  • Strong vendor and supplier management experience.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for craftsmanship and quality.
  • Experience communicating with factories.
