Accounting Professional

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled accounting professional to play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across multiple entities and jurisdictions.

  • Manage daily AP, AR, general ledger, and bank reconciliations across international entities, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Process invoices, manage payments, and maintain strong vendor relationships, fostering a culture of transparency and cooperation.
  • Verify and process claims while ensuring policy compliance, adhering to strict guidelines and regulations.
  • Collaborate with Payroll to ensure accurate records and compliance, promoting seamless communication and coordination.
  • Assist in preparing P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow reports, providing insightful analysis and recommendations.
  • Perform reconciliations and resolve variances, utilizing data-driven approaches to identify areas for improvement.
  • Support VAT/GST, payroll, and corporate tax filings, staying up-to-date with the latest regulatory requirements.
  • Track expenses and recommend cost-control improvements, contributing to the organization's overall financial health.
  • Identify automation opportunities and enhance workflows, leveraging technology to drive efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred), demonstrating a strong foundation in accounting principles and practices.
  • 3+ years of accounting experience (AP, payroll, and financial reporting), showcasing expertise in managing complex financial transactions.
  • Experience with both Australian and US accounting standards, regulations, and compliance requirements, highlighting adaptability and knowledge of diverse regulatory environments.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS & local accounting standards, ensuring alignment with global accounting best practices.
  • Experience with Xero, NetSuite, or similar accounting software, proficiency in using industry-leading tools.
  • Advanced Excel skills & exceptional attention to detail, leveraging data analysis and critical thinking to inform decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first environment, embracing flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work setting.
