Job Summary
Expert Financial Planner and AnalystGartner seeks a highly skilled financial planning and analysis professional to provide expert research and advisory services to global clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in leveraging technology to enhance financial planning processes, possess a deep understanding of the challenges faced by FP&A leaders, and be able to create essential insights for clients through published research and client interaction.
Main Responsibilities- Serve as a subject matter expert for financial planning processes and technologies, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning software.
- Collaborate with a team of analysts to develop authoritative research and advice that addresses the priorities and challenges of senior finance leaders.
- Deliver high-quality advice through presentations and discussions with clients.
- Stay ahead of developments and issues across financial planning technologies and processes.
- 12+ years of experience leading FP&A teams in large multinational organizations with demonstrated experience in transforming planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Strong knowledge of various FP&A automation vendors and technologies associated with financial planning processes, data analysis/modelling.
- Experience in improving forecast accuracy and implementing rolling forecasts to optimize the budgeting process.
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, CFA/CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
