Quality Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to manage external quality issues and customer audit processes.

In this critical role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the effectiveness of our corrective actions, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining strong customer relationships through clear communication and robust quality management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage External Quality Issues:

  • Review, write, and update 8D reports to effectively address customer complaints.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement containment actions for quality issues.

  • Rigorously review 8D reports to assess their effectiveness and drive sustainable solutions.

Lead Customer Audit Management:

  • Coordinate audits with customers to ensure seamless execution and timely closure.

  • Provide essential data analysis support on customer audit findings.

  • Develop compelling presentations to help external customers understand issue root causes and actions implemented.

Drive Continuous Improvement & Communication:

  • Create and monitor a Continuous Improvement Program that demonstrates our commitment to ongoing enhancement.

  • Support other group Quality Activities and actively participate in company programs.

Requirements

  • Graduate degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical) preferred.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in semiconductor assembly/test or a closely related industry.

  • Proficiency in core quality tools including FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, Basic & Advanced Statistics, 8D, Root Cause Analysis, and other Problem Solving Tools.

  • Solid understanding of ESD fundamentals.

  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Excellent Communication Skills.

  • Knowledgeable in Assembly and Test Measuring and Test Equipment.

  • Strong Product & Process Knowledge within the semiconductor domain.
