Product Specialist Role Summary

This position plays a pivotal role in driving product excellence by efficiently identifying and resolving bugs, while also facilitating the analysis and validation of user feedback to drive meaningful product improvements.

To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of the Thumbtack product, with a continuous focus on staying up-to-date with recent updates and new features. This expertise will enable them to effectively manage bugs and feedback, ensuring seamless product performance and user experience.

  • Stay abreast of product developments to proactively manage bugs and feedback.
  • Consistently provide prompt and informative responses to product inquiries from internal stakeholders across designated channels.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions and drive enhancements within your function.
  • Engage collaboratively with team members to share valuable insights, propose solutions, and address potential challenges.
  • Manage special projects, trackers, reports, and analyses while coordinating effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Collaborate extensively with other teams to enhance product performance and user experience.

Successful candidates will demonstrate strong research, navigation, and investigative skills, as well as experience with Salesforce, Coda, and Jira or similar tools. Additionally, proficiency in Google Workspace, including Forms, Sheets, Docs, and Slides, is necessary for effective collaboration and communication.
