Content Strategist

We believe content is the connective tissue of design, tying desired outcomes to meaningful experiences. As a Content Strategist at our company, you will develop clear and compelling English copy in support of a client specializing education for financial professionals.

This role involves writing engaging narratives that inform and instruct various audiences through various media (e.g., blog posts, learning modules, skills assessments, surveys, articles, whitepapers).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpreting content briefs to understand assigned tasks and underlying asks; following up where more information may be needed.
  • Engaging with client subject matter experts and teams to understand the purpose of key assets, takeaways, and calls-to-action (CTAs), and behaviors they are trying to influence.
  • Adhering to client brand and editorial guidelines.
  • Applying feedback from client teams and quality control editors.
  • Partnering with clients, making suggestions, bringing your own ideas and expertise to the table.
Requirements:
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading abilities with strong attention to detail.
  • A strong interest in education, adult-learning, and professional development.
  • The ability to transform a content brief into engaging courseware or narratives.
  • Strong research skills and a natural curiosity to learn new topics.
  • Ability to facilitate interviews and workshops with subject matter experts to gather required input to write compelling materials.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with content and learning management systems like Xyleme and Articulate 360.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in copywriter/content creator roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or equivalent experience.
  • Reliable home internet service.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
