Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Research and Development team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability and reliability of our SaaS environment.

Responsibilities include responding to alerts, investigating issues, and identifying root causes to ensure system stability. Additionally, you will develop and manage infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.

Key responsibilities also include implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, including configuration, automation, and monitoring, to facilitate fast and reliable software releases. You will also utilize Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes to containerize applications and scale them efficiently.

In addition, you will manage cloud resources on the Azure platform, optimizing cost, security, and performance. Furthermore, you will set up monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure system availability, performance, and security.

To be successful in this role, you will collaborate with the security team to implement best practices for security, compliance, and vulnerability management. Your expertise will also be utilized to write scripts and automation tools to streamline repetitive tasks and improve efficiency.

You will work closely with development to understand underlying requirements and implement infrastructure to support it. Finally, you will create and maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for infrastructure and processes.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of major cloud service provider operations experience.
  • Experience maintaining, scaling, and operating a consumer multi-tenant offering.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a SaaS organization.
  • Proven experience with containers and container orchestrations systems.
  • Experience designing, improving, and operating CI/CD release pipelines.
  • Templating and Configuration Languages experience.
  • PowerShell experience required.
