Acquisition Opportunity

The Acquisition Analyst plays a pivotal role in supporting the acquisition and finance teams with tasks such as financial analysis, market research, due diligence, investment presentations, and pipeline management. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, comfortable working in a team environment with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and underwriting on potential investments to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
  2. Review offering memoranda and seller-provided materials, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flows, to assess investment viability.
  3. Engage in market research and analysis to inform investment decisions and support business growth.
  4. Develop high-quality presentation decks to effectively communicate investment opportunities to stakeholders.
  5. Support property-level due diligence, including lease review, rent roll, loan documents, and coordination with third parties.
  6. Contribute to market-level due diligence, including sale and lease comparables and investment trends.
  7. Organize and maintain the acquisition pipeline to ensure efficient and effective deal flow.
  8. Provide administrative support to the acquisition and finance teams, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
Essential Qualifications
  • Latin honors (cum laude or better) from a reputable university preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, or accounting is advantageous.
  • MBA degree preferred for advanced knowledge and skills.
  • 2-5 years of experience in real estate asset management, finance, or acquisitions, preferably with top consulting firms or financial institutions.
  • Proficiency in underwriting and analyzing real estate opportunities, with expertise in quantitative evaluation and analysis (ROI, cash flow, NOI).
  • Advanced Excel modeling skills are essential for successful performance.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills, with ability to produce error-free work under tight deadlines.
