Wealth Management Acquisitions Professional

At RCBC, we are seeking a highly skilled Wealth Management Acquisitions Professional to join our team. As a key member of our wealth management department, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our customer base by onboarding new-to-bank clients into our Wealth Management portfolio.
This position requires a unique blend of sales acumen, financial expertise, and relationship-building skills to identify and attract high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) / affluent clients to our wealth management services. Your primary focus will be on establishing and nurturing relationships with prospective clients, understanding their financial needs, and offering tailored / bespoke wealth management solutions.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Customer Acquisition: Identifying and prospecting potential clients who are new to the bank and have wealth management needs. Conducting market research to identify target demographics and developing strategies to attract new clients. Utilizing various channels such as your network of clients, personal referrals, leads from internal business partners, and digital platforms to generate and convert leads to acquire new to bank clients and meet targeted sales volume or assets under management (AUM).
- Trusted Financial Advisor: Meeting with prospective clients to understand their financial objectives, risk tolerance, and investment preferences. Analyzing clients' financial situations and recommending appropriate Wealth Management products and services. Presenting personalized investment proposals and providing insights on investment strategies to help clients achieve their goals and aspirations.
- Seamless Client Onboarding: Coordinating with internal teams to facilitate the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition. Gathering required documentation and assisting clients in completing account opening procedures. Educating clients on our wealth management offerings, account features, and online platforms.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) related to client acquisition and revenue generation. Tracking client engagement and satisfaction levels, seeking feedback to continuously improve service quality. Preparing regular reports on new client acquisitions, revenue growth, and market trends for management review.
- Collaboration: Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, including relationship managers, investment advisors, product specialists, and marketing teams, to leverage resources and expertise in delivering comprehensive wealth management solutions to clients.
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- At least 3 years experience in a similar capacity and function, preferably within the wealth management industry.
- A proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with HNW / affluent clients.
- Able to provide effective and sound financial and investment advice to clients.
- Sales and Marketing-oriented mindset.
