About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Magento Senior Developer to join our team at ACCPRO International. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for architecting and implementing solutions for complex feature enhancements for open-source software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute development approaches from requirements and wireframes
  • Break out assignments from broader development initiatives for junior developers to complete
  • Review code of junior developers to ensure it meets quality standards and provide feedback for improvement
  • Take responsibility for the quality and timeliness of the output of a small development team
  • Communicate effectively with project managers and business analysts to ensure user stories are fully clarified and ready for development
  • Maximize the usage of software feature set via configuration to minimize the need for customization via development
  • Develop solutions and utilize code libraries for team-development initiatives
  • Maintain JIRA tickets with proper documentation during the development process
  • Collaborate with business analysts to ensure client communication
  • Ensure personal equipment is free from security issues, malware, and viruses
  • Participate in team meetings, provide feedback on technologies, procedures, and processes, and recommend improvements
  • Collaborate and coordinate with other team members on large development projects to ensure consistency of approach and code corpus
  • Correctly record time spent on assignments using our timing system to ensure correctness of billing
  • Properly document code in English so that another developer can quickly understand its intent
Requirements
  • 5 years of programming experience
  • 3 years of experience with Magento 2
  • Mastery of object-oriented programming techniques in PHP
  • Mastery of HTML DOM, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Solid understanding of e-commerce concepts, including payment systems, shipping, and catalog structure
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in VIM and Linux command line
  • Experience with Symphony
  • Experience writing applications in Elixir and Elm
Work Arrangement

Most of the time, work from home (WFH), but if there are important meetings or client visits, the employee should be flexible to come to the Manila office at their own expense.
