Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Magento Senior Developer to join our team at ACCPRO International.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement complex solutions for feature enhancements in open-source software
  • Plan development approaches from requirements and wireframes
  • Assign tasks to junior developers and review their code to ensure quality standards
  • Take ownership of the quality and timeliness of a small development team's output
  • Communicate effectively with project managers and business analysts to clarify user stories
  • Maximize software feature usage through configuration to minimize customization needs
  • Create solutions and utilize code libraries for team development initiatives
  • Develop features and modules according to client specifications
  • Maintain JIRA tickets with proper documentation during development
  • Collaborate with business analysts for client communication
  • Ensure personal equipment is secure and free from malware and viruses
  • Participate in team meetings, provide feedback, and recommend improvements to technologies and processes
  • Collaborate with team members on large development projects for consistency and code corpus
  • Accurately record time spent on assignments using our timing system
  • Document code in English for easy understanding, including variable and class names, programming patterns, and Clean Code practices
Qualifications
  • 5 years of programming experience
  • 3 years of experience with Magento 2
  • Mastery of object-oriented programming techniques in PHP
  • Mastery of HTML DOM, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Solid understanding of eCommerce concepts, including payment systems, shipping, and catalog structure
Nice to Have
  • Experience working in VIM and Linux command line
  • Experience with Symphony
  • Experience writing applications in Elixir and Elm
Work Arrangement

Most of the time, work from home (WFH), but be flexible to come to the Manila office for important meetings or client visits at your own expense.
