Job Title: Senior Technology Specialist

As a seasoned technology professional, we are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to fill the role of Senior Technology Specialist. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to utilize their expertise in IT infrastructure, networking, and security.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and maintain all IT systems, including firewalls, security protocols, and VPN access.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless connectivity and access to various applications.
  • Work closely with the IT Director on strategic initiatives, including project design, implementation, and reporting via Jira and email.
  • Provide support to the DevOps and support teams to resolve technical issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure administration.
  • Proficiency in Linux OS flavors, including Red Hat/CentOS 6, 7, 8, and Ubuntu.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows, including administration-level skills, and familiarity with latest releases (Windows 7/8/10) and Windows Server 2008/2012.
  • Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Perl.
  • Networking expertise, including Fortigate firewall setup, basic WiFi knowledge, static routing, and DHCP.
  • Experience with IT automation using technologies like Ansible.
