Front-end WordPress Developer Job

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a skilled Front-end WordPress developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality user interfaces for our website.

Your Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for turning wireframes and mock-ups into reusable code, building high-quality UI components with scalability in mind, and implementing new features to our WordPress website.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Designing and developing responsive web applications using WordPress, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Transforming app designs into front-end code with WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Working with back-end developers to integrate UI components with APIs and databases.
  • Gathering and refining specifications and requirements based on technical requirements or UX design.
  • Debugging errors, troubleshooting issues, and performing routine performance optimizations.
  • Managing the on-site search engine optimization (SEO).
  • Writing high-quality, scalable, and reusable code.
  • Staying plugged into emerging technologies and industry trends.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have at least 4 years of experience developing modern, responsive, and cross-browser-compatible websites using WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • Experience with JavaScript libraries such as jQuery, GSAP, and Bootstrap.
  • Proficiency with HTML5, including semantic HTML5 elements, microformats, and WAI-ARIA.
  • Familiarity with CSS preprocessors such as SASS, Less, Bootstrap, or Tailwind CSS.
  • Expertise in ACF and Gutenberg.
  • Basic proficiency in Google Analytics and Tag Manager.
  • Working knowledge of SEO principles.
  • Experience with build tools such as Grunt, Gulp, or Webpack.
  • Basic proficiency with Figma.
  • Experience with cross-browser compatibility testing.
  • Experience with responsive web design.
  • Familiarity with W3C and W3GAC html standards.

Bonus Requirements:

  • Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, AlpineJS, and Vue.
  • Proficiency in Sketch and Invision.
  • Experience with Webflow.
  • Developed using other tools and platforms like WooCommerce, Shopify, Pardot, and Hubspot.
