You will also assist in project-level financial monitoring and tracking of financial report due dates, evaluate budget proposals to ensure alignment with prevailing market rates, and draft donor financial reports for compliance with regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze budget performance reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Analyze variances between approved budgets and actual expenditures, and report significant discrepancies to the relevant parties.
  • Assist in project-level financial monitoring and tracking of financial report due dates to ensure timely completion.
  • Evaluate budget proposals to ensure alignment with prevailing market rates and regulatory requirements.
  • Draft donor financial reports that are accurate, complete, and compliant with relevant regulations and procedures.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need a University degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited institution. A minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in financial management, donor requirements, budget monitoring, and internal controls, is also required.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Excel, including Power Query, Power Pivot, and creating dashboards and interactive reports.
