Background of Recruitment

This person will oversee the entire engineering division while also having a good grasp of general software engineering concepts.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee all Engineering division activities.
  2. Set division objectives, monitor progress, and ensure alignment between engineering activities and the company's strategic goals.
  3. Develop an appropriate organizational structure, resource plans, and culture.
  4. Define and implement technical strategies and roadmaps, ensuring alignment with the company's objectives.
Leadership and People Management
  1. Foster a culture of excellence, mentorship, and collaboration through strong leadership.
  2. Design career paths and job descriptions.
  3. Manage the recruitment process to evaluation with HR.
  4. Formulate and decide policies related to organization operations and member wellbeing.
Technical Leadership
  1. Strategically assign projects, balancing growth and needs, using engineering resources effectively.
  2. Lead the planning, design, and implementation of internal training programs.
  3. Establish metrics and monitoring systems to track performance, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Mandatory Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience as a section or division manager with more than 10 members.
  • At least 10 years of experience in the Web software engineering industry.
  • Degree holder in a relevant field, such as computer science or management.
  • Professional experience in either AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Professional experience in any modern web application framework.
