Acquisitions Position Overview

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in financial analysis, underwriting, and market research. Key responsibilities include conducting thorough examinations of potential investments, analyzing offering memoranda, and coordinating with third parties to facilitate due diligence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and underwriting on potential investments to identify opportunities for growth and minimize risk.
  • Analyze offering memoranda, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flows to ensure accurate assessments of investment potential.
  • Perform market research and analysis to provide data-driven recommendations for investment decisions.
  • Prepare high-quality presentation decks to effectively communicate findings and support decision-making.
  • Assist in property-level due diligence by reviewing lease agreements, rent rolls, loan documents, and coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
  • Conduct market-level due diligence to analyze sale and lease comparables, as well as investment trends.
  • Organize and maintain the acquisition pipeline to ensure efficient project management.
  • Provide administrative support to the acquisition and finance teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, or accounting is preferred; MBA degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in real estate asset management, finance, or acquisitions; experience with top consulting firms or financial institutions is a bonus.
  • Proficiency in underwriting and analyzing real estate opportunities.
  • Advanced Excel modeling skills are required.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to produce error-free work under tight deadlines with minimal oversight.
