We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Coder to join our virtual team. In this position, you will play a crucial role in abstracting patient charts and assigning accurate diagnostic codes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Abstract patient charts and assign diagnostic codes in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and industry standards.
  • Synthesize information from patient records, accurately assigning medical codes and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with coding guidelines, reimbursement reporting requirements, and CMS-approved coding changes to ensure seamless payment processing.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A minimum of an active CPC/CPC-A license or any other recognized coding certification.
  • College undergraduates are welcome as long as they hold an AAPC/AHIMA license.
