Front-end Developer Position

As a skilled front-end developer at our organization, you will be responsible for creating the user interface of our website.

You will have advanced working knowledge of WordPress, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript as well as hands-on experience with user interface and user experience (UI/UX) design.

Your duties will include turning wireframes and mock-ups into reusable code and building high-quality UI components with scalability in mind.

You will also be responsible for implementing new features to our WordPress website, performing routine maintenance and performance optimizations, and integrating plugins such as WooCommerce.

Responsibilities:

  • Build web applications with best practices
  • Transform app designs into front-end code using WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Work with back-end developers to integrate UI components with APIs and databases
  • Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical requirements or UX design
  • Debug errors, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine performance optimizations
  • Manage on-site search engine optimization (SEO)
  • Write high-quality, scalable, and reusable code
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends

Requirements:

  • At least 4+ years of experience developing modern, responsive, and cross-browser-compatible websites using WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience with JavaScript libraries such as jQuery, GSAP, and Bootstrap
  • Proficiency with HTML5, including semantic HTML5 elements, microformats, and WAI-ARIA
  • Familiarity with CSS preprocessors such as SASS, Less, Bootstrap, or Tailwind CSS
  • Expertise in ACF and Gutenberg
  • Basic proficiency in Google Analytics and Tag Manager
  • Working knowledge of SEO principles
  • Experience with build tools such as Grunt, Gulp, or Webpack
  • Basic proficiency with Figma
  • Experience with cross-browser compatibility testing
  • Experience with responsive web design
  • Familiarity with W3C and W3GAC html standards

Preferred skills:

  • Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, AlpineJS, and Vue
  • Proficiency in Sketch and Invision
  • Experience in Webflow
  • Experience in developing using other tools and platforms like WooCommerce, Shopify, Pardot, and Hubspot
