Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable Professional to join our finance team. This role will involve supporting the client's financial operations by processing supplier invoices, reconciling accounts, and managing payment runs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Invoicing and Reconciliation: Process, code, and enter supplier invoices in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or similar ERP systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Purchase Order Matching: Match purchase orders and delivery dockets with supplier invoices, resolving discrepancies promptly.
  • Account Management: Reconcile accounts payable transactions and supplier statements, maintaining vendor records and documentation accuracy.
  • Payment Processing: Prepare and process weekly and monthly payment runs, liaising with suppliers to resolve payment queries and discrepancies.
  • Supportive Role: Collaborate with purchasing and operations teams to resolve invoice or delivery issues, providing support for bank reconciliations where required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Bookkeeping.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in Accounts Payable or similar role.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or other ERP tools such as SAP, Pronto, NetSuite essential.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience within supply chain, wholesale, or industrial products sector advantageous.
  • Soft Skills: High attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions, strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to liaise internally and externally.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team.
