Job Purpose:

The Digital Account Security Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining customer confidence in EastWest Bank's digital services by effectively handling reported fraud and unauthorized transaction complaints.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conducts proactive surveillance on social media and online channels to detect suspicious posts involving illegal or unauthorized use of EastWest Bank accounts.

2. Identifies and escalates suspicious or malicious posts on various online platforms, including social media, chat forums, and other channels.

3. Analyzes large datasets to identify patterns of fraud and anomalies.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Performs daily sweeps of social media posts on digital account selling and initiates notifications for bank-initiated account closures due to terms and conditions violations.
  • Responsible for identifying, escalating, and investigating suspicious or malicious posts on online platforms.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of banking regulations, fraud investigation, fraud detection, case management, and data analytics.
  • At least one year of experience in the banking industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset and the ability to interpret and analyze data and metrics.
