Electrical Design Team Lead

We are seeking a seasoned Electrical Design Team Lead to oversee our remote design department. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of designers in creating high-quality designs that meet our clients' needs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in electrical systems design and experience managing teams remotely. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of our designs, as well as identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes to enhance our design workflows.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of designers in creating high-quality designs that meet our clients' needs.
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of our designs.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance our design workflows.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand client needs and project constraints.
  • Partner with operations to ensure designs are practical and installable.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical design team management.
  • Strong technical background in electrical systems design.
  • Experience managing remote teams and maintaining consistent quality standards.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and specialized electrical design software (Aurora, Helioscope, Revit, Visio).
  • Knowledge of US electrical codes (NEC) and construction industry standards.
