The DWS Entity Close team prepares Head Office financials, including disclosures and statistical forms supporting various DWS entities across the globe. This involves processing manual journals related to tax and other equity transactions, such as dividends, capital contributions, repatriation, and goodwill. You will also ensure that sub-ledger systems and subsequent reporting platforms are accurate, complete, and timely submitted through performance of reasonableness checks, trending analysis, exception management, and understanding of control environments.

As a Regional Finance Analyst, your responsibilities include:

  • Preparing manual journals in S4 Hana;
  • Submitting Head Office and quarterly disclosures and statistical forms;
  • Completing the Management Review Process (MRP) / Balance Sheet Substantiation, Sub-ledger reconciliation, and period-over-period financial comparison;
  • Providing ad hoc support, such as journal postings, investigations, and report preparations;
  • Managing ad hoc requests and stakeholder management/escalations, if any;
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance-related courses, preferably CPA;
  • Experience in accounting, audit, or finance gained from financial services or BPO industry would be beneficial;
  • Knowledge of SAP 4/Hana is an advantage. Proficient in MS Excel;
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and leadership skills;
  • Be driven and well-motivated, seeking a challenging career with substantial responsibility.
