Senior Quality Assurance Automation Expert

As a senior quality assurance automation lead, you will spearhead the development and implementation of quality assurance strategies across teams to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of web and software products. You will mentor quality assurance engineers, drive automation initiatives, and collaborate closely with engineering, product, and devops teams to align quality assurance efforts with company objectives.
- Leading the quality assurance automation team in defining and implementing testing strategies, frameworks, and best practices across all projects.
- Driving test planning, prioritization, and execution of both manual and automated testing across frontend, backend, and mobile systems.
- Overseeing the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, reusable automated test scripts that simulate end-to-end user interactions across platforms.
- Monitoring automation test coverage and execution results, ensuring issues are identified early and release cycles are efficient and reliable.
- Reviewing test results and quality metrics, preparing leadership-level reports and recommendations for quality improvements and risk mitigation.
- Maintaining and enhancing the automation framework, testing tools, and CI/CD integrations to support continuous testing.
- Mentoring quality assurance engineers and fostering a culture of accountability, technical excellence, and continuous learning within the quality assurance team.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate quality assurance processes seamlessly into the development lifecycle and release workflows.
- Proactively identifying gaps in quality processes and leading initiatives for operational excellence and innovation in quality assurance practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance Strategy Development
Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance strategies to ensure the delivery of high-quality products.
Automation Testing
Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reusable automated test scripts that simulate end-to-end user interactions.
Test Planning and Execution
Drive test planning, prioritization, and execution of both manual and automated testing across frontend, backend, and mobile systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 5+ years experience in both manual and automation testing and at least 1 year experience in leading a team.
- Development and execution of test plans and scenarios.
- Experience in writing automated tests in Selenium, Cypress, and Appium, Robot Framework.
- Testing complex GUIs, APIs, and platforms.
- Source control management like Git, Bitbucket, etc.
