Job Description:

Canonical is seeking a seasoned software engineer to spearhead the adoption of Rust in our engineering teams. As a key member of our technical leadership, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of well-tested and well-documented software in Rust.

This role requires an individual with extensive experience in Linux development, strong technical skills, and excellent leadership qualities. You will work closely with our engineering teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes that promote best practices in software development.

As a leader in our engineering organization, you will be expected to contribute to the success of your product through technical advocacy, collaborate with colleagues on technical specifications, and participate in code and architectural reviews.
