The Role of a Graphic Designer

As a graphic designer, you will play a crucial role in creating visually appealing and effective designs for our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to interpret client briefs and develop original artwork that aligns with brand guidelines and communicates the desired message effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret client briefs and concepts to develop original artwork that meets their requirements.
  • Create visually compelling graphics, illustrations, and layouts for use across digital platforms and traditional media.
  • Design and produce marketing collateral to support campaigns, product launches, and promotions.
  • Work closely with marketing, eCommerce, and content teams to ensure creative assets drive engagement, conversions, and brand consistency.
  • Develop templates and design systems that streamline campaign execution and maintain a cohesive brand look and feel.
  • Adapt designs across multiple channels, including social media platforms.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality output.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry design trends, tools, and best practices.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio that demonstrates work for eCommerce or consumer brands.
  • Proven ability to create designs that convert in online retail environments, with an understanding of customer journeys and sales funnels.
  • Proficiency in illustration techniques, including drawing, sketching, and digital painting.
  • Strong skills in layout design, typography, branding, and composition.
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Canva.
  • Familiarity with Shopify (for storefront asset design and optimisation) and Klaviyo (for EDM template design and campaign visuals) is highly desirable.
