Microservices Developer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Microservices Developer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Golang and microservices architecture, with experience in designing and implementing scalable systems.

This role involves developing and maintaining backend services using Golang, as well as collaborating with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. The successful candidate will be responsible for writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code, optimizing applications for performance and scalability, and participating in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.

A key aspect of this role is the ability to work effectively in a team environment, contributing to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including investigation into new technologies and implementation strategies. The developer will also participate in continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring that systems are aligned with business objectives.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop and maintain backend services using Golang.
    • Design and implement microservices to support application features.
    • Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
    • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
    • Optimize applications for performance and scalability.
    • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Proficient in Golang: 4+ years of experience
  • Microservices Architecture: Proven experience in designing and implementing microservices
  • API Integration: Experience with RESTful APIs
  • Database Management: Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
