This role is ideal for an experienced accountant with a strong background in Australian accounting and tax compliance. The successful candidate will have at least 2+ years of experience preparing financial statements, tax returns, and compliance documents to review stage.

You will be working across various clients including Individuals, Companies, Trusts, and Family Groups, gaining exposure to complex areas of Australian taxation.

  • Prepare and complete Financial Statements, Income Tax Returns, BAS, and IAS to review stage with high accuracy.
  • Work across different entity types including Individuals, Companies, Trusts, and Family Groups.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Apply knowledge of Div7A, FBT, and CGT in preparing accurate tax outcomes for clients.
  • Liaise with managers and clients where required, ensuring all deliverables are completed within deadlines.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail to minimize review points.
  • Contribute to process improvement and efficiency within the accounting team.
Key Requirements
  • Minimum 2+ years of Australian accounting experience.
  • Proven ability to prepare compliance work (Financial Statements, Income Tax Returns, BAS, IAS) to review stage.
  • Solid understanding of Div7A, FBT, and CGT.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to prepare clear and professional correspondence.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
