As a key member of our organization, the Digital Building Integration Specialist will be responsible for ensuring clients and partners receive high-quality fault detection and diagnostics product delivery and support.

Primary Responsibilities
  • The successful candidate must be able to guarantee timely completion of onboarding projects, communicate project timelines and milestones effectively, and ensure analytics performs at a high level of quality.
  • We require an engineer who has hands-on experience in installing Data Collection Services, discovering data, and organizing Digital Building Systems.
  • The role involves troubleshooting Diagnostics to perform automated fault detection on customers' HVAC equipment.
  • Additionally, we need someone to review findings, validate results reported by the software, and train customer and partner users specific to the Data Transfer Service, data connectivity, and related networking issues.
  • Ongoing support of connected sites is also required.
Qualifications
  • The ideal candidate should be confident, self-motivated, and able to quickly grasp new technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly with customers and partners, are essential.
  • A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, or 5-6 years of industry experience, is necessary.
  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience in HVAC, controls, or fault detection and diagnostics is desired.
  • Familiarity with BAS protocols such as BACnet, Haystack, oBIX, and Modbus is essential.
  • Knowledge of BAS networking principles is also required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
  • Prior experience with automated ongoing commissioning, fault detection and diagnostics, performance measurement, and verification is a plus.
  • Familiarity with metadata applications, such as Project Haystack, is also beneficial.

  • Effective communication of technical information to customers over the phone and through emails is necessary.
  • Multiple project management skills, across multiple countries simultaneously, are required.
  • Attention to detail and analytical thinking are essential.
  • Ability to creatively streamline processes and find efficiencies for executing complex technical tasks is desirable.
  • Conceiving and communicating product development ideas to leadership and the product development teams is required.
  • Comfortable working in an environment where work processes are being established and constantly refined.
  • Passion for changing the built environment with new tools, technologies, and business models is essential.
  • Desire to work in a close-knit, passionate environment where communication is key and the learning experience is invaluable.
