Senior Web Developer Position

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement cutting-edge web solutions using modern technologies such as React, Next.js, and WordPress.
  • Lead the evolution of our WordPress ecosystem, building new features, templates, and custom plugins while maintaining performance and security.
  • Drive SEO outcomes by implementing technical SEO strategies, schema markup, Core Web Vitals improvements, site architecture, internal linking, and content templates that rank and convert.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop visually appealing and user-friendly experiences.
  • Implement data-driven decision making through analytics and A/B testing.
  • Ensure website reliability and quality through monitoring, error tracking, and automated checks.
Technical Requirements
  • Deep expertise in WordPress, PHP, custom themes, ACF, Gutenberg, and WooCommerce.
  • Proficiency in HTML and CSS, Tailwind or similar utility CSS, component-driven design.
  • Experience with DevOps and hosting, Git and GitHub, CI/CD, AWS or similar, Docker, Cloudflare.
  • Knowledge of SEO and analytics tools including GA4, Google Search Console, Tag Manager, Hotjar or similar, A/B testing tools, Rank Math or Yoast.
  • Skills in performance optimization, image optimization, caching, lazy loading, database tuning, and Core Web Vitals.
Nice to Have
  • Experience working with healthcare, NDIS, LMS platforms, and secure form workflows.
  • Design literacy and comfort moving between Figma and code.
  • Data skills for dashboards and marketing automations through APIs and webhooks.

  • Proven track record of shipping commercial websites at scale.
  • Comfortable in a fluid role with ability to work independently and collaborate closely when needed.
