Accounts Receivable Professional

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable professional to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in managing our company's receivables and ensuring timely payments from customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contact customers via phone or email to discuss outstanding invoices and resolve any billing issues.
  • Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, prioritizing collections efforts to maximize payment recovery.
  • Negotiate payment terms with customers as needed to ensure timely payment.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster positive interactions and drive ongoing business.
  • Work closely with internal teams to resolve payment issues and ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Analyze and manage past-due accounts, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing strategies to reduce delinquencies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve monthly receivable targets and contribute to the overall success of the finance team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in corporate collections, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and collections processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and Word.
