Process Optimization Specialist

A key role in our organization is the automation of business processes, and we are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our team. This expert will design, implement, and maintain cross-platform automations that integrate various tools such as n8n, Airtable, Microsoft Power Automate/Power Query, and APIs from JIRA, Basecamp, and others.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with operations and cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities, design workflows, and implement process improvements.
- Build and maintain automated workflows using n8n, ensuring efficient and reliable execution across multiple business systems.
- Connect and synchronize Airtable, Microsoft ecosystem tools, JIRA, Basecamp, and other SaaS platforms via APIs, webhooks, and automation flows.
- Develop and manage Power Automate flows and Power Query transformations to streamline data handling, reporting, and operational dashboards.
- Create and manage API integrations with project management, CRM, and communication tools to eliminate manual work.
- Monitor automated workflows, troubleshoot errors, and optimize performance for reliability and scalability.
- Maintain clear documentation for all automations and provide training or guidance to ensure solutions are sustainable.
- Proven experience with n8n workflow automation (must-have).
- Strong proficiency in Airtable (schemas, formulas, automations, API integration).
- Skilled in Power Automate and Power Query for Microsoft 365 environments.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and JSON for integrations.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA and Basecamp, including automation of tasks and reporting.
- Bonus: Experience with Zapier, Make.com, or scripting (JavaScript/Python).
- 2-4+ years of experience in operations automation, systems integration, or process improvement roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to translate business processes into automated workflows.
- Excellent written and verbal communication for documenting workflows and collaborating across teams.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy and workflow reliability.
- Proactive, self-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexible, adaptable, and eager to learn new platforms and tools as the automation landscape evolves.
- Strong accountability and ownership of projects from design to delivery.
