Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage financial records using Xero: reconcile accounts, process invoices, manage expenses, and handle general ledger entries.
  • Utilize Dext to capture, code, and file supplier receipts and invoices; ensure digital documents are organized and audit-ready.
  • Process and track accounts payable and receivable; prepare supplier payments and chase incoming payments as needed.
  • Collaborate with senior management to support accurate job costing: allocate materials, labour, and overhead to relevant projects.
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements regularly.
  • Prepare monthly management reports: profit & loss, cash-flow statements, project cost summaries.
  • Assist with BAS preparation and liaise with external accountants for GST and tax matters.

This is a remote position that requires strong organisational skills and attention to detail in both financial and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be comfortable working in a small, collaborative team where adaptability is key.
