Job Title: Business Quality Analyst - Data Systems and Management

The Business Quality Analyst will analyze the current and future business environment and systems landscape. They will gather and document business and client project requirements, capturing context, current state, desired outcomes, and objectives. This involves complex data analysis, identifying areas for improvement, and developing comprehensive solutions to meet business needs.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze the current and future business environment and systems landscape, identifying trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Gather and document business and client project requirements, including stakeholder needs, goals, and constraints.
  • Develop clear and concise Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) that are aligned with business objectives.
  • Present detailed requirements to stakeholders, obtaining consensus and buy-in through effective communication and negotiation.
  • Evaluate proposed solutions for alignment with business and customer needs, highlighting key risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with Product teams to design and implement solutions that align with the company's data-led strategy.
  • Assess and manage the impact of requirements on data systems and business processes, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.
  • Support development, testing, and implementation by working closely with solution partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Validate test case scenarios against BRDs and audit test case results performed by UAT testers.
  • Maintain adherence to change control and change management procedures related to business requirements.
  • Share best practices and insights with the wider team, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Participate in post-implementation reviews, lessons-learned sessions, and peer knowledge-sharing activities.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Analysis, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on data systems and management.
  • Proven success in business and quality analysis roles involving complex project delivery.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder influencing abilities at all organisational levels.
  • Proficiency with business analysis tools and techniques (e.g., user stories, process flowcharting, requirements documentation).
  • Advanced IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Familiarity with project management and change platforms (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Open Project, Azure).
  • Ability to communicate complex data concepts to diverse audiences, using clear and concise language.
