Job Description

The Looker Developer is a pivotal role within an organization's data analytics ecosystem. This position entails designing, developing, and maintaining a robust Semantic Layer utilizing Looker to support business intelligence and analytics needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize LookML models, explores, and dashboards to facilitate business decision-making.
  • Implement complex data transformations, calculations, and aggregations using LookML to ensure accurate data insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data architectures that align with business objectives.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across all Looker assets by implementing robust data validation and verification processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Looker, including LookML development, dashboard creation, and data visualization.
  • Strong understanding of data visualization principles, data modeling concepts, and relational database systems.
