Snowflake Security Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Snowflake Security Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Snowflake administration, particularly around security, user management, and role-based access control (RBAC). They will work closely with security teams, data engineers, and architects to implement and maintain security policies, RBAC roles, auditing practices, and data protection standards.

  • Implement and maintain secure operations of large-scale data platforms built on Snowflake.">
  • Focus on access control, identity integration, and compliance management within Snowflake.">
  • Integrate and manage user access via Active Directory (AD) or Azure AD.">
  • Maintain security policies, RBAC roles, auditing practices, and data protection standards.">
  • Monitor usage, handle user provisioning, and support regulatory and data governance requirements across the platform.">

  • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake administration, particularly around security, user management, and role-based access control (RBAC).">
  • Proficiency in integrating Snowflake with Active Directory (on-prem or Azure AD) for secure authentication and SSO.">
  • Familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments, including auditing, encryption, and sensitive data handling.">
  • Experience in supporting enterprise data platforms, ideally in environments that include SAP or Salesforce as data sources.">
  • Understanding of data governance principles and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) is a plus.">
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to support both technical and non-technical stakeholders.">
