Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled System Administrator to fill a key role in our IT department. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for providing support in a 24x7 production environment focusing on Ubuntu Linux Server(s).

Your primary duties will include performing daily maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of Linux system(s) and service(s). You will also investigate alerts, coordinate responses, document responses, and communicate effectively with team members.

In addition, you will serve as the primary on-call engineer on a rotating basis during your scheduled shift(s).

To succeed in this role, you should have at least one year of production Linux system administration experience and strong troubleshooting and communication skills. You should also be proficient in Bash scripting and able to understand and modify GoLang and Perl.

Familiarity with user management, configuration, and package management best practices is essential. Experience managing Proxmox or a similar Linux KVM hypervisor is also highly desirable.

You should have knowledge and experience with various technologies including Apache, NGINX, HAPROXY, MYSQL, REDIS, MEMCACHE, SCYLLADB, ELASTICSEARCH, RABBITMQ, NAGIOS, PROMETHEUS, GRAFANA, PROXMOX, BASH, PERL, GO, PHP, CEPH, CFENGINE, GIT, DOCKER, JUNIPER.

Requirements:
  • At least one year of production Linux system administration experience
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
