Product Specialist Job Description

As a Product Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's product strategy by conducting extensive research on product ingredients, formulations, and market trends. Your findings will be instrumental in informing the development of new products.

  • Responsibilities:

  • • FDA Compliance & Registration: Serve as the designated Qualifying Person for all Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requirements. This includes attending seminars and trainings, preparing and submitting necessary documents for product registration and licensing, and ensuring continuous compliance with all FDA regulations.

  • • Product Research & Development: Conduct in-depth research on product ingredients, formulations, and market trends to identify opportunities and evaluate potential risks and benefits.

  • • Strategic Analysis: Analyze research findings to develop strategic recommendations for key stakeholders. Present your findings in a clear and compelling manner, including pros and cons.

  • • Collaboration: Work closely with the team to brainstorm and develop new product ideas. Provide foundational research that informs our product strategy.

  • • AI Integration: Utilize and explore AI tools to enhance research processes and improve efficiency.

  • • Product Testing: Participate in testing and evaluation of new product prototypes when working in the office.

Qualifications

We are seeking highly qualified individuals who possess:

  • Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • • Educational/Professional Background: A valid license is a primary requirement. We are particularly looking for licensed Chemists or Chemical Engineers, but we are also open to applications from licensed Pharmacists and Nurses.

  • • Curiosity and Resourcefulness: Demonstrate a genuine passion for learning and the ability to independently research and acquire new knowledge. Possess a proactive and self-starting attitude.

  • • AI Proficiency: Be comfortable and enthusiastic about using AI tools to streamline research and information access.

  • • Communication Skills: Possess exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex research findings and strategic recommendations to a non-technical audience.

  • • Strategic Thinking: Demonstrate the ability to think critically and present a balanced view of research, outlining both the advantages and disadvantages of a particular approach.
