The Lead Cloud Platform Engineer is responsible for providing technical leadership on client engagements, leading architectural design sessions, coaching peers, and managing client expectations while cultivating a collaborative culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical oversight and guidance to junior team members learning the 3Cloud approach.
  • Serve as a coach in a player-coach model to support upskilling and confidence-building in infrastructure delivery.
  • Foster relationships between cloud infrastructure teams and outside partners.

Delivery Support Activities

  • Function as technical delivery oversight with strong consultative skills on multiple client engagements.
  • Partner with Delivery Excellence to ensure project milestones align with a project plan capturing key client decisions.
  • Have a strong understanding of Cloud Infrastructure solutions and IaC (Bicep or Terraform).
  • Assist in breaking through project blockers to reach billable targets.
  • Help facilitate change orders and project extensions when necessary.
  • Drive alignment across technical mesh points between practice areas.
  • Stay updated on the latest technologies impacting existing offerings.
  • Hold the AZ-305 Cloud Architect certification.

Business Development Leadership

  • Gain exposure to other offerings to position in existing infrastructure engagements.
  • Identify new Cloud Infrastructure & Security solution opportunities and raise them up.
  • Lead and guide infrastructure offerings committees defining and driving forward standard offerings.

Growth Enablers

  • Reach trusted advisor status within multiple accounts, supporting account growth in a 'Land & Expand' approach.
  • Lead and guide multiple engagements enabling infrastructure team scalability.
  • Support teammates with unblocking engagements and remediating potential escalations.
  • Create reusable artifacts and content enabling team members to bill time to clients.
