Job Title: Senior Product Engineer

We are seeking an experienced senior product engineer to lead the development of our web core products.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of shipping high-quality products at scale, with a strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices.

This is a key role that requires a strategic thinker who can work closely with cross-functional teams to shape the product roadmap and drive technical decisions.

About the Role:

  1. Product Development: Actively ship production code to the web products, collaborating with the dedicated product team to deliver high-quality features on time.
  2. Technical Leadership: Participate in product discussions to shape the product roadmap, providing technical expertise and guidance to ensure successful product delivery.
  3. Feature Development: Have the opportunity to work on new and exciting features that impact millions of lives, utilizing your skills and expertise to drive innovation and improvement.

Requirements:

  • Experience: You've built and shipped products that have scaled to thousands or millions of users, demonstrating a strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices.
  • Customer Obsession: You are passionate about delivering high-quality products that meet customer needs, with a focus on user experience and satisfaction.
  • Speed: You work quickly to generate ideas and know how to decide which things can ship now and what things need time, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Focus: You know how and when to engage or be heads down in a busy, remote team environment, maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency.
  • Collaboration: You know how to inspire, play, and negotiate with opinionated designers, marketers, and PMs, building strong relationships and driving effective collaboration.
