Job Description:

Kepler is seeking an experienced backend engineer with strong technical skills and a passion for innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will have a background in backend technologies, a working familiarity with frontend development, and excellent communication skills.


The role offers the opportunity to make significant technical contributions to a sophisticated platform used by marketing professionals while collaborating with team leads.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement robust backend solutions using Python services (Flask, FastAPI), GraphQL servers, and SQL databases.
  • Collaborate with product management, UI/UX designers, and engineering leads to implement technical specifications.
  • Implement scalable data models and APIs to support complex business logic.
  • Optimize application performance across multiple applications.
  • Apply type safety and code reusability best practices.
  • Participate in the full development lifecycle from planning to deployment.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest tools and techniques, recommending them for incorporation into our platform.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience in backend development.
  • Proficiency in Python and related frameworks.
  • Experience with SQL databases, ORM technologies, and GraphQL servers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English for technical discussions, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
  • Ability to collaborate synchronously with team members during core hours while respecting work-life balance.
