Job Overview

As a key member of our financial team, you will be responsible for coordinating monthly financial close, including preparation and review of reconciliations and journals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and be able to prepare consolidated financial statements, balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and monthly cash flow reports.

Additionally, you will assist with the preparation of half-year and full-year statutory reports in compliance with IFRS.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparation and review of reconciliations and journals
  • Preparation of consolidated financial statements, balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and monthly cash flow reports
  • Assistance with the preparation of half-year and full-year statutory reports in compliance with IFRS
  • Analysis of reports to identify risks, ensure accuracy, and support decision-making
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in financial accounting, reporting, or audit
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS
Preferred Skills

The following skills are highly desirable:

  • Experience with consolidated reporting and statutory compliance
  • Proficiency in accounting systems (preferably JDE) and advanced MS Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling abilities
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
